The Volcanic Sand Polish

how to use

Apply to damp skin and massage in gentle circular motions for 30 to 60 seconds. Rinse thoroughly with lukewarm water and pat dry. Avoid the eye area. Works on elbows and knees too.

WHEN TO USE

Morning or evening, two or three times a week.

This product is step two in your ritual. Use it after cleansing and before your serum, and skip other exfoliants that day.

Key ingredients

Every ingredient is chosen with intent. Each one has its own job and its own reason to be there, picked for how it works on your skin. Below is what they are, where they come from and what they are here to do.

Volcanic Sand

Volcanic sand is finely ground rock of volcanic origin. Its small, even grains polish the surface of the skin as you massage. Rough and dull patches feel smoother after rinsing. A creamy base of plant oils and castor wax keeps the grains soft on the skin, so it feels polished rather than scrubbed.

Kaolin

Kaolin is a soft, very mild white clay. It takes up excess oil from the surface of the skin. While the sand smooths, the clay leaves the skin feeling clean. Because it is so mild, the skin does not feel tight or dry afterwards.

Four organic berries

This polish holds the extracts of four berries, all from organic farming. Blueberry and strawberry are the familiar names. Cloudberry comes from the far north, and raspberry completes the four. Together they give the creamy polish its fresh, fruity character and a touch of natural antioxidants.

FAQ

What Are The Benefits?

It works by hand, not with acids: the fine grains work on the surface while you massage, so you decide how gently. Used two or three times a week, it keeps the skin even and bright.

How often do I use this product?

Use it two or three times a week, never on consecutive days. Once a week is enough for skin that reacts easily.

When do I use this product?

Either. It fits well in the shower after cleansing. Not on the same day as The AHA Peeling Drops, The Refining Clay Mask or another exfoliant. Not for skin with active blemishes or irritation, where rubbing makes things worse. It has a natural scent. If your skin reacts to fragrance, the answer is no.

Is this formula compatible with my skin?

Not every product suits every skin, so each one tells you. The description names the skin it suits best, and the answer under “When do I use this product?” says what to know first, such as a natural scent or alcohol. If your skin reacts easily, try a new product on a small area first.
